Acting for the screen amounts to working with little or no rehearsal in a series of strung together moments where the simple lifting of an eyebrow can tell an entire story.  So, although the process of letting character live in the imaginary circumstances remains the same in the various mediums; the focus, development, conditions, and manifestation is altered greatly.  This intensive workshop is designed to give each actor opportunity to practice and develop tools of character and script exploration while adjusting to the rigors and requirements of acting for television and film.

THE FULL COST OF THIS WORKSHOP IS $375.00. A non-refundable deposit of $175.00 is required to reserve your space. You will have the option to pay by check/money order or credit card. Any remainder on the balance will be due at the beginning of the workshop on that Friday.

“Steven Anderson is an extraordinary teacher.  He brings great energy, wisdom and imagination to every hour of every class.  His workshops are as fun as they are exacting, and no one offers better individual coaching.  I especially appreciate Steven’s endless repertoire  of creative, on-your-feet exercises–each of which adds immeasurably to the richness of his workshops, and to one’s own learning.” – Norm Stamper, Actor

“Working with Steven Anderson has unlocked my potential. For the first time, I have a road map of where I can go with my acting, and how I’ll get there. From being trapped in techniques and tricks, I now feel liberated into a living, breathing craft. For the first time in my career, I understand what it is to be an actor and how that resonates in my body – living truthfully, spontaneously releasing within a form, honoring the text by breathing life into it with my present-mindedness, and by playing full out.” – Wonder Russell, Actor
